I don’t know if many of my readers are familiar with BookDNA, a private, personal way to track your reading and get deeply personalized book recommendations.
Think Goodreads, but for readers who want a calm, private space to track what they read, keep notes, and explore books that match their Book DNA (like Spotify or Pandora but for books).
The founder, Ben Fox, reached out to me when two of my books were published in 2023. He has a vision for a better way for readers to find books they love.
If you are interested, you can click here, for more details.
I have made two posts for them, which include lists of books on a given topic. In one, I made a list of The Best Books about Humans Bonding with Wild Animals
And in another I made a list of books about Misunderstood or Weird Creatures
Bear in mind that these lists are MOSTLY focused on books for young readers, though not entirely, and also, who doesn’t love kids’ books?!

Meanwhile, the more I poke around this site, the more I am determined to become an author member. You, too, can be a supporter of Ben’s vision, just follow this link!
